Elive 2.0, questione di giorni.

Oggi, al rientro dal lavoro trovo una mail del team di traduzione di Elive, al quale mi ero iscritto tempo fa ma non avevo avuto il tempo per cominciare, anche perchè avevo bisogno di installare Elive sull’Hdd, quindi il tutto era finito nel dimenticatoio, la mail si apriva così: The new Elive Stable version 2.0 is very near!, think about that’s only 1 week remaining for the release

Per chi non conoscesse Elive, è una derivata di Debian, prodotta in Belgio dal team che si occupa anche di sviluppare Enlightenment, quindi è la distro E17 per antonomasia, il suo sviluppo comincia nel 2005, e conoscendo i tempi biblici dello sviluppo di E17, capite perché in 5 anni si sia arrivati solo a 2 release, di cui la prima stabile solo nel 2007, ora a distanza di 3 anni il team è pronto per la versione 2.0 “Topaz”, purtroppo si sa ancora poco di questa nuova versione:
